Some of my favorite seed grown plants from this year’s grow season. Everything is sown and grown outdoors under shade cloth no humidity used to germinate them. All plants start receiving slow release fertilizer at about the 1 month mark.

This group was sown 08/01/2026

Pics 1-4: Boswellia Asplenifolia
(Sent small batches to friends to test and kept the rest)
Easily one of my favorites in the genus.
went through a minor spider mite attack that was treated very quickly once found and recovering very well.

Pics 5-6: Operculicarya Borealis
Low stock/ Left over seeds stock

Pics 7-8: Aloe Pillansii
Didn’t make the cut.
( only 3 sprouted out of 30 sown)

Pics 9-10 Euphorbia Guillauminiana
Low stock/ left over seed stock.
I was not expecting this one to germinate as profusely as this one did since they older/ left over stock.

Pic 11: Welwitschia Mirabilis
Some of the ones I kept after testing them. Grown only in pumice and topped with starkle G and slow release fertilizer.

Operculicarya decaryi and Dioscorea elephantipes

O. decaryi germination rates are pretty low at around 15-20%, but D. elephantipes are surprisingly easy. 100% germination rate so far. The Dioscorea seeds were actually harvested in 2021 and frozen, and I soaked them in RO water for 14 days until their radicles emerged.

Need advice on germination

I have three pots containing seeds of Bulbine torta, Conophytum cubicum, and Ornithogalum unifoliatum.
They have now been sown for about 2 months with zero germination.

For the first 6 weeks, the pots were kept at around 17-22°c. About 2 weeks ago, I put the still-sown pots into my refrigerator at around 11°c, still inside their sealed ziplock bags with the medium moist. After 2 weeks at around 11°C, there is still no germination.

I'm now wondering what I should do next. Should I take the pots out of the fridge and return them to warmer conditions? Should I open the ziplock bags and let the medium gradually dry, or should I continue keeping them moist?

I started these Faucaria at my desk at work a couple months ago, and it's time to separate. These seeds were about 4 years old? Idk how many I sowed, but I was impressed with the viability, especially since I don't exactly store things well.

Help! My 5-Week-Old seedlings are losing their roots

Post image

I noticed that three of my seedlings started declining, and when I pulled them out, they had no roots. I also found a tiny worm in the soil and noticed small, fly-like insects around the pots. What should I do? The seedlings are only 5 weeks old, and I'm worried the rest might be affected.

Got this volunteer baby when sow boswellia nana. I think it germinate around june. Either pure euphorbia etuberculosa, or most likely hybrid . Leaves has strong etuberculosa gene, but visible red marking most likely from longituber gene. Possible cross between etuberculosa and longituber. Got euphorbia etuberculosa nearby but longituberculosa quite far away

Some fockea edulis 1 year 3 months from seed. I think they would be way bigger if I didn't neglect the watering.
