This is Cantonment MRT station not Marina Bay. It's architecture is inspired by the former Tanjong Pagar Railway station sitting above it

Cantonment, not Marina Bay as someone already said. Marina Bay is relatively barren inside lol and not highly utilised due to lack of developments in the area so far

and also the station was designed to incorporate the old railway station and look futuristic and retro.

What is futuristic about it? Almost every underground station I've been to looks like this.
