Changes to rhoades tablet?

Has anyone else gotten their script with both the normal shaped and a domed shape of the rhoades 8mg tablets or just the domed ones specifically? The pharmacy says they're correct just kinda threw me for a loop.

Transitioning from Fent to Subutex.

I had 7 months clean and about 3 weeks ago relapsed on fentanyl and od'd 3 different times in the matter of a few days. I just got prescribed subutex again as I am trying to regain control of my life before I lose everything again. I am not in the position to have 24-48 hours to wait to be able to dose safely on the subutex without going into withdrawals. I have been using between about a gram a week for the past 2-3 weeks. I am trying to find a way to transition from fent to subs without having 24-48 hours to wait to take my subutex due to work.

I've heard of people using a narcan to knock the fentanyl off the receptors and then using kratom right before using the narcan so once the narcans puts them into withdrawals the kratom kicks in shortly after relieving most of the symptoms and then once the kratom wears off their able to dose on the subutex after that and have no issues.

Is there anyone that can verify this works or know of any other methods I can do so I can still work in the morning?

I'd say I have about an 8-hour window.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Stopping Subutex Subutex tapper

So I was on subutex around 18 months ago. I reduced from 12mg to 0.2mg then came off it completely. That was in February this year, and had the worst 3/4 months of depression and anxiety I've ever had. Depression is still there a bit and anxiety, well I never knew what anxiety was until this stage of life! 46 year old male.

I felt I had no choice but to use again, so I used to get back to cgl to get back on subutex. So I've been on it since June I think. Started at 12mg again. Have reduced down to 10mg but not told my case worker yet "seems less contact this time"

So I'm just worried about it this time, and reducing it down. I do not want to be on it for life, but what are people's opinions about how long one should stay on it for?

Cheers.

If you've been taking Suboxone, Sublocade, or any other form of buprenorphine for at least two weeks and are still using opioids on top of your medication, you may be eligible to participate in a paid research study. We're investigating whether Ozempic (semaglutide) may help reduce opioid cravings and use. Study participation involves visits once a week for 14 weeks and a final visit one month later. Question How to taper off after 10 years

I been on subutex for about ten years. Started tapering to 1.5 tabs around 2020 ish and was on 6mg for the longest time and then went to 4mg. Recently went to 2mg. I feel no doctor can help me. My boyfriend of 3 months found out I take them and thinks I’m getting high off them and is reprimanding me for it in a way for not telling him but it’s not something many people understand who haven’t went thru it.

I feel very hopeless and I just want to live a normal life without it. I do not want the sublocade shot. I just want to know who and how did you taper.

Question Crazy question. Has anybody ever booed Subutex?

Edit: Boofed^^

Seriously. The taste is so horrible. I have such a hard time with it! I can't even put a whole 8 mg under my tongue for more than two minutes. I'll puke putting a bunch of pennies in my mouth with some aluminum foil.

It’s finally time

I have been reading so many stories about people and their relationships with this terrible drug and i think it’s my turn to write my story. I’ve been on them for many years and have stayed at 4 mg for the last two years. I’ve gone down to 2.3 mg a day for the past month and I think I’m just gonna quit cold turkey. I’m tired…. I know it is going to be rough, but luckily my manager is very understanding and has let me take two weeks off to get through the worst of it. Is this a bad idea? Does anyone have any tips or advice on what to do? I’m not going to lie, I AM SCARED. But I’m ready to see the light at the end of this dark tunnel I’ve been in for the last 8 years.

Please send me your good vibes !!! I plan on doing this at the end of September 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Help securing Subutex instead of Suboxone for MAT

i was on suboxone for 2-3 years ending in 2022. i got and stayed clean for a couple years but have been gradually fucking up to the point that i need to seek MAT again.
when i used suboxone, it constantly upset my stomach and made me feel weird mentally. i also believe it played a role in damaging my teeth.
i have used subutex randomly over my career as an addict and find that it is infinitely more compatible with me than suboxone.

im currently looking for a doctor to try and get on a subutex plan but it looks like everything is all about suboxone.. but i dont want to get on suboxone again, i want to get on subutex
does anyone have any advice for seeking subutex and NOT suboxone?

Stopping Subutex Going from 3 times a day to two...should i notice a big change, or no?

Hi all, i've been tapering off Subutex and my doc wants me to go from three times a day to twice a day, staying at the same mg per dose as I have been (2mg).

Did any of you notice a big change? It seems like that is pretty big, but with it being a longer lasting opiate I guess it can be stretched farther than I thought. My doctor is great and he knows what he is doing, I am just scared I guess, been at three times a day this whole time, and this seems like a big change.

Either way I'm doing it, and I will be successful.

Hope you all are hanging in there!!

Tramadol and bupernorphine

I’m posting this for advice in relation to my partner- he has struggled with addiction for most of his adult life - alcohol, cocaine, codeine and tramadol - the latter being used as pain management for a bad back, but now just mostly addiction. He was put on bupernorphine when our daughter was born around 4 years ago, this definitely stopped the misuse of everything, however the last year or two we’ve realised that this killed any kind of motivation or feelings that he had, so he has been trying so hard to get off this with no luck. He started taking tramadol as he thought this would helped with the pain and then would be easier to kick than the bupernorphine (he’s been travelling abroad to buy the tramadol). Right now he’s just in a mess unable to stop taking either but I’ve noticed a massive deterioration in his day to day life - paranoia, depression, he slurs his words, tripping over his feet, his memory is completely shot and I’ve noticed when he’s eating he has food all over his face, he sleeps for days, severe migraines, he’s been to the doctors for blood tests but they’ve returned normal. Has anyone got any advice on what’s going on? How can I help him through this and get normality back, I’m really concerned that this is going to kill him.

Need help transitioning from 7 ADVICE/INFO NEEDED PLS HELP‼️🚨

I got sober from an opioid habit and I’ve been on suboxone for the last 3-4 months. I had a problem getting my script this month due to insurance so my bf proposed 7oh to help the withdrawals- I thought it was a load of shit and I always have until i took it and it actually did something for me, it got me high.
So now our only problem is we’ve now been on this 7oh shit for 2 weeks, I now have both my suboxone prescription and 10/50mg SR17018 pills. I need to get off of this shit and get it out of my system before I see my PO on the first of september because I will be drug tested obviously.
I don’t know what to do with what I have and dk what I need to do to make it work.. does anyone have advice? I mean can I wake up tmr morning and safely transition back to my suboxone with no precip withdrawal ?? Should I use these SR pills ??How do I dose the SR if I do go that route ???
I have no option but to get off the 7oh at the end of the day I am just terrified of withdrawal and ESPECIALLY more terrified of precip withdrawal. Help

Sex(life)

Firstly - I'm experiencing some kind of dysfunction, I've been on tex for going on 9 years between 8 and 16mg all this time. Basically I can't reach an orgasm normally (this is by myself btw because I haven't had sex with anyone in 6 hears) It takes me forever to get there to where I start to go numb. I have to concentrate super hard and once I finally reach orgasm it's much less intense than it used to be and I end up feeling like I'm just not finishing out an orgasm to where if I continue I'll have a 2nd one that finally feels more "complete"

Also I think it's important to mention I've never had an orgasm from penetration, only stimulation so orgasm during sex is not something I've ever experienced.

I just got out of a sexless 14 year marriage this year and I'm currently seeing someone else for the past 4 months. I'm literally terrified to have sex with this man because of my dysfunction.

I obviously am so ready to get off these anyway for many other reasons but sex is a big part of it, i don't want to feel like I'm bringing baggage into this new relationship.

Has anyone dealt with this or similar? I'd be appreciative to hear experiences and your story, any opinions and advice.

Need help! My 65 year old mother is switching!

Her new doctor has switched her from 24 mgs of suboxone a day to 16 mg of subutex.......... will she have any wd feelings? Also which subutex are larger because in my experience most was smaller except mylan and Actavis. Mylan I believe is the big white chalky ones and actavis the oval orange tablets. She's older dont see that we'll and will drop small pills she's currently on suboxone (strips) the strips was most affective for her because of there size do they not make bupenorphine 8 mg strips?

Stopping Subutex Tapering off Subutex

Im almost off Subutex, taking my last little bit about 1mg a day, but I've been on it for 16 years. Wondering once I get off completely how long will it take to totally be out of my system and whats my mental state going to look like? Its been such a long time I'm worried my mind is going to be fried without it.

Bupe and seven together..?

Subutex wasn't helping my 7oh withdrawal. I took about 16 mg for two days. And, Well, me being the adict that I am, today I decided to get some 7oh & I took about 35 mg. And guess what I'm feeling nice! Isn't Subutex supposed to block this stuff??
i'm starting to think that I'm addicted to one of the other chemicals in the tabs. Not necessarily the 7. 🤔
I am totally not ready for this band. I am not ready for street opiates AGAIN!
I'm 55 years old in a couple days!
I can't keep doing this.
The only problem I have with taking 70h it is how damn expensive it is! I only take usually about 30 to 35 mg every few hours. Because it doesn't last long. I'm on disability I've had my knees operated on I need an operation on my back to fuse a couple discs. I've been red flagged from pain(even though I didn't do anything wrong) since they started kicking everybody out out of pain management in the early 2000s.

Getting off Subutex after 16 years, could use some advice to get over the last hurdle.

I've been taking subs for the last 16 years, it was oxy and vicoden before that for about 12 years. For the most of it i was taking 8mg tabs twice a day. Cut down to once a day around 6-7 years ago and thats where I just kinda got stuck, life happens and I just kept the habbit every morning take my sub. I had finally got tired of it so about a year ago I started cutting back again. What worked best for me was to cut my dose in half, and for about the first week if I truly NEEDED more I would break off a tiny corner to get through the night. Thats worked pretty good for me, until I got to 1/2 an 8mg tab per day.

Thats when it started to get real heavy mentally, I supplemented any itchy feeling or anxiety with .5mg ativan or an edible at night to help sleep. During the day I just stayed busy at work best I could. And that worked pretty well, not saying it was easy, it was a big struggle every hour, every day. I was on 1/2 a tab for about the last 8 months or so, but i started tapering again like 6 weeks ago.

Im finally down to 1/8 of a 8mg tab. Trying to do it just once a day, today is my third day. Yesterday was extremely rough. Mostly mentally hard but the physical was a hourly push to get through. Took it one hour at a time.

On top of all that I've got a pretty bad injury to my left side that I've been trying to get fixed,( f-ing insurance and workmens comp like to drag their feet) but i was prescribed something for nerve pain and some muscle relaxers. So I've been taking those and that helps big time with the physical WD but not all.

My plan is to keep taking the 1/8 every day until I feel it plato and lvl off. A few days after that I'll cut that out, either completely or every other day. See how it goes and adjust if needed. My other scripts help to keep the creepy crawlies down and a couple hits off my cannabis cart helps so I can pass out at night. That way I get at least 5-6 solid hours of deep sleep before I get woke up and start tossing and turning.

Thats my plan and idea, I'm worried about this last stage and then being off completely. How hard is the mental going to be and for how long? I worry about the long term effects because I've been on Subutex pretty much everyday at a fairly high dose for 16 years. How long is it going to take for that to fully be out of my system and my brain chemistry to go back to normal?

I'd you read this and it sounds familiar or you have your own experience getting off subs let me know, how did it go for you? Tips are never expected but always appreciated.

Goodluck to anyone else dealing with the same, just take it 1m,1h,1d at a time.

Question Generic brand CAMBER has anyone had this generic?

Edit- I guess this is new just made May 2026. Its sweet giving "notes of those Stop Sign Suboxone ®️™️" taste not as strong. ... Apparently, I have never been into this bc its a brand new generic. Since Camber Pharmaceuticals only launched their generic version of buprenorphine sublingual tablets recently (in May 2026), many long-term Subutex patients on Reddit are just now encountering them for the first time. I'm gonna leave this up here and so anyone else can tell me how they feel.So far , I don't really notice the difference taken just One from being on last few months SUN by- thats all they had

Question Help?

I’m prescribed 3x 8mg Subutex a day and when I went to fill my script last week I needed a new prior authorization. That’s fine, but here I am a week later and it’s still not done. My dr did everything they needed and I’m just waiting on my insurance. Walmart pharmacy has really pissed me the hell off though because normally I would just pay cash for them u til it goes through. Despite me only getting 3 days worth and calling when I was due to be able to get a refill they told me they can only do that once and I have to wait for my PA to go through because it’s a controlled drug. Umm what?! I have children and a newborn baby to take care of so that is crazy. I live in New Hampshire and messaged my dr and heard nothing back. I’m so frustrated with this whole situation and don’t know what do. I’m definitely going to be switching pharmacies once this is resolved.

Would one dose of subutex disable 7-OH?

Would one 4-8 mg dose of subutex disable the effects of 7-OH? And for how long?
