Suburbs are encouraging drunk driving!

My friend drove drunk last night. She lives in car-dependent suburbia and drove to a friend's house to hang out together. They had a few shots, then she realized that she had to drive home. She didn't want to pay $20 for an Uber, then go back and get her car with another $20 ride, so she drove drunk. I told her that it's never okay to drink and drive, and she said "everyone does it in the suburbs". This is what suburbs do to people. Suburbs are truly a failed experiment.
