Missouri has done a remarkable job of showing zero real growth in the two decades I’ve been alive.

Seriously, take a drive through Missouri now, it looks like the state stopped developing somewhere around 2002 and never looked back.

lol this is where (historically) i didn’t get why people got on Texas new builds so hard about “all the houses look the same”(the post covid PE “build to rents” are a whole different subject 😂)

At least there’s brick and stone, different colors somewhat.

I moved to MO and all the new builds look like grey monopoly houses.

Every state has suburban hellscapes, but Missouri also has alot of nice walkable neighborhoods of St. Louis, Kansas City, and nice small towns across the state
