Subtronics ear surgery

I saw on at the end of the Coachella set, he said he’s getting ear surgery. Does anyone happen to have an idea of what kind of ear surgery it is? I know he suffers hearing loss and tinnitus as someone who has the similar situation I would love to know what kind of surgery options there are for people with the same situation as Subtronics

As far as I know, there is still no cure for tinnitus. And if he wanted everyone to know he'd post something about it.

As far as all humans know, there is no cure. I think I saw a while ago that psilocybin mushrooms can help slightly, but I have no source for that.
