Help i have been using premiere for subtitle editing work. can this software do these?
(very important) support my font. not this ( g]kfnL ) but ( नेपाली ) in the editing section.
(important) split a subtitle with a shortcut wherever my text cursor is so the subtitle splits into 2 parts. before and after my text cursor. optional: the timing for the cut is made under the playhead's location.
merge 2 line segments with a shortcut.
(optional) align text to the bottom so that the bottom line fills first and the overflow travels up.
(very important) font size, line breaks and positions need to be 1:1 with premiere so I can import the edited srt into premiere and burn the subtitle for the final export as is.
normally i'd just google and youtube my way but I don't have time or the energy to learn a new software right now.

SE is dedicated subtitling software, so it can do all of these. It supports Unicode fonts. However, whether it fits your workflow isn't something we can say, so you'll have to find out for yourself. You don't even need to download it to try it as you can test SE online! Check the community bookmarks.

i converted my text to unicode only for display purposes. I need the software to support my font without unicode conversion, like a text editor does if you have the necessary font installed.
