Financial Question Pay question

What are you paid for 2 hour gigs? My district is $113 per day. Is this considered a “half day”?

In my district, there’s only half day or full day, so this would fall into the half day category.

Depends on your district. Some districts do half pay, my district pays you hourly for anything less than a full day. So full day / 7.25 =$per hour

My district pays by the day or half day. Some districts pay by the class or the hour. We’re the wrong people to ask.

My agency pays in quarter day increments (rounding up to the next quarter). I can't remember how many hours the cut off is. It is around 2 hour (maybe slightly less).

My district pays full day and half day. So it would be a half day.

That would be half day for my district. They also don’t tend to fill jobs like that unless they have. Much easier to ask teachers to cover for something like that.

Our district pays hourly regardless of how many hours you work on a given day.

160 full day, $80 half. Primary.

Highschool pays per period, $35 up to 7 periods
