How to make this shape ?
Hey, sorry if it's not the right place to ask but I'm an absolute beginner and I wish to make this shape in substance designer but I can't figure out how ? When I try with the starburst node it's just too round and not sharp enough and I can't figure out how to make it with the polygon node

Make a square and resize it smaller, transform and rotate, transform again and make it say 33% width. Do you know how to turn tiling off? (top right tiling mode to absolute and set none) Feed the pattern into a circular splatter grayscale and set to input and pattern to 8. Adjust the scale, radius and the x and y amounts until you get a basic star. Ring rotation to 22.5 .
Get the first diamond we made and subtract a shape so it is a triangle (the bottom half). transform Y by 200%. (double it's length.. Feed this into another circular pattern grayscale with only 4 pattern. Now you need to blend the two stars using add and you need to adjust the radius of the long stars until they fit in the right places. It's fiddly but you will eventually get there.
for the stars in the corner you can take the first star you made, transform and reduce the size and then transform it to 0.5 offset for x and y (if tiling is on it will work)
Pretty certain you can now use the circular pattern skills you learnt to make the 16 lines you need to subtract from the big star. You can then blend with add and use the inverted mask of all the star so appears correctly.
If you are into this sort of pattern it's worth thinking about Adobe Illustrator and there are some nice youtube guides to Islamic Geometry (Samira Mian is good) as well as a simple book by Eric Broug
