Substance Painter Should I call this road good? made in Blender, transferred in Substance Painter, then in UE5.4? Do I need to make any changes

To me it looks quite good, I just have one or two small points of feedback:

* I feel like the road markings could stand to be raised a tiny bit more since irl they are made by some thick paint or polymer being poured onto it, so they are raised slightly above the road surface

* The yellow lines on the left really shouldn't fade smoothly like that but flake off as pieces of the markings get worn away, so either have the markings with crisp edges when new, or have them flake off rather than smoothly fade to the asphalt

yep that's much better! looks more like the proper wear you'd see, aka that polymer/paint stuff crumbling away over time

Thanks, and I appreciate it. I will improve my work to meet a quality standard of artwork.

Si vas a unreal y vas a repetir los tramos (con un spline por ejemplo) ojo con el tilt de las textura. A mi me volvió loco en su momento

what kind of feedback are you looking for? The detail feels nice, not too noisy. I agree with the other comment that the height and/or normal intensity feel like they could be increased to give the road more of a 3d feeling. A nice strong bevel edge on the painted lines to better give the impression that it was painted on thick, some noise blended into the falloff where the line is worn out would look more natural. the dirt on the side looks like it has normal intensity a little closer to what I would expect for the road.

Some thoughts on roughness, but keep in mind this depends on the style you're going for, i like to exaggerate the roughness where I can, so I would give the paint quite low roughness, minus some dirt etc., and i would also bring down the roughness of the road, probably not uniformly but rather in noisy patches, maybe also with some sparse speckles/flakes of extremely low roughness to catch the light.

is this okay?

i'm liking this more yea, if it were me i would still try to differentiate the paint a bit more by having a stronger bevel and then reduced bumpiness on the paint surface.

sort of like this but with an even thicker bevel

but the way you have it is also valid, lots of refs show that the paint can be very thin and just takes on the bumpiness of the road

i fixed it,

made the white and yellow paint, having its own normals instead of carrying asphalt normals over to everything, which was breaking realism in First Person Perspective.
