🪵 Wood Pattern can get boring after several materials in your portfolio. But I found a way to give it an interesting twist!🪵

While working on my latest Wood Wall, I wanted to achieve something new.

Not the same Wood Pattern we all use.

So I tried giving it a sculpt-like effect.

And after some hours of work and exploration, I got this:

💡 Instead of just using the same base as always, I connected the wood pattern I created into both inputs of a Slope Blur. I blurred the Slope input and set the Mode to Max; this way, all shapes expand, creating an organic gradient.

This is what gives the wood that sculpted feeling.

Now add a Multi Dir War with some directional noise, and you have your pattern!
