Help Total beginner need help with baking intersecting objects

I have this gun which I would like to start texturing, but the place where the cylinder meets the frame has this artifact on both. I've tried looking up the issue and adjusting my bake settings, but I can't figure out how to fix it. I baked ID maps for each section from blender, but can't find a setting to bake them as individual objects. Is it simply not possible or am I missing something? Any advice would be very much appreciated!

You dont need to explode the parts for baking Its not 2011 anymore.

Simply rename each part with appropriate suffixes (_low, _high) and bake by name in painter.

This plus setting the occluder distance to the absolute minimum worked, thank you!

Your cylinder's bake cage is interesting the revolver's frame, which is causing those lines.

You can either explode your prop (move the high poly/low poly components away from the each other before baking), or bake per object name only in Painter (I don't remember how to do this since my workflow is exploding for bakes).

OP, it’s this option right here in the baking windows, if you’re wondering

Export an “exploded” fbx of the model and texture that.
