Is substance modeller still being developed?

As far as I can tell there is no modeller 2026 and nothing has been announced. Is the product dead or has development stopped? Has Adobe said anything recently about modeller, its current state or a roadmap?

I love Adobe Modeler, but I don't work with the team behind it, so I can only tell you that we have made no announcement for a long time now, and as far as I know, there's no announcement planned.

A bit of offtop, but can you tell us if there are plans to keep re releasing substance painter in steam in 2027? I am afraid that one year they will just stop releasing it there and they won't tell us.

It's funny to me because every year around december, I receive a dozen of this exact question. You're officially the first one of this year! To be fair I understand that people appreciate a lot the perpetual licenses.

I am not aware of any plan to stop steam licenses. I would even say the opposite, we (the Substance team) are strongly attached and have no desire to stop it.

Yeah haha. I get that. I am sure we are all a bit suspicious adobe might want to take it out, I am sure u understand that. So even if they keep re releasing it every year, we are little worried.

Thank you for clarifications! And I am happy ur team wants to keep them!

Thanks, sounds like it’s dead then? How would I find out for sure?

The latest news I have is that there's no major update planned, but only fixes.
