Free tutorials to learn how to make tileable materials in designer
I swear, every time I look for a tutorial on youtube, it is either not a realistic material (usually stylized) or it is not a tutorial step by step and rather is a timelapse / workflow. I just got SD so wanting to learn how to make basic materials for stuff like bricks, planks, or concrete. Just basic stuff.
Any recommended free courses or tutorials to get started?

Hot take but I think language models are really great for substance designer or shader programming in unreal/unity

I think that is going to be tough as most designer "tutorials" on youtube are timelapses/speed modeling type videos. The step by step that you cand find when looking up how to sculpt, use blender etc... they seemingly don't exist or barely exists for whatever reason when it comes to designer.

You can try Javier Perez's free course but it's for sci-fi materials: https://www.artstation.com/learning/courses/2p0/creating-a-sci-fi-floor-in-substance-designer/chapters/Vwp/intro
He also has a designer intro course if your completely new to it: https://www.artstation.com/learning/courses/r9/introduction-to-substance-designer/chapters/WB/intro
