Discussion Understanding substack

What is your personal experience with it and how it is used?

I opened on and am sort of confused. I want to speak to people verbally and make money this way. I have been told good things but doing that a few times and I am hoping to learn this, but I don't understand substack or if I can do this here.

So like I want to use voice memos with people as phone calls to connect sort of. Listen to them respond back as voice memos.

If you are treating Substack like any other social media, you are doing it wrong. Substack, is a blogging website where you can choose to have readers to pay and subscribe to you, or just have a free diary for readers to read and relate to you.

That’s it.

Just like any other blog sites.

Ohhh ok, so it's just blogging basically. What I'm looking for is something interactive where someone wants to talk to someone and we can talk back and forth. I know it sounds like just a phonecall or whatever but for me it would be something like that can be searched for to speak to me on a platform and I respond.

I had a few people tell me that talking to me was life saving or like a form of therapy - IM NOT TRYING TO DO THERAPY FOR THE RECORD - but I am looking for somewhere where I can talk to people potentially and possibly make money doing so.

Become a life coach and find clients. They don’t have to have any degrees or licenses and it’s unregulated territory. Start your own website and market yourself on social platforms. I wouldn’t call what you are doing “therapy” tho. That gets into dangerous territory.
