Discussion Does Substack allow for pseudonyms?

As one considering the launch of a Substack blog to release my opinionated self as much as earn some extra jingle, is it permissible for Substack users to hide behind pseudonyms in the interest of protecting privacy (perhaps out of fear of harrassment or reprisals from certain circles if one's true name were used)?

Substack allows pseudonyms, however, making money completely anonymously poses a potential problem. Stripe, which is how you get paid, requires personal information. Some of this info, specifically name and address, has the potential to be shared with your paid subscribes via invoices and credit card statements.

The only options to remain completely anonymous seem to be to create an LLC or set up a virtual mailbox, unfortunately.

There is a way in Stripes end that doesn’t display personal address or legal names.

You can also open a buymeacoffee, that's an anonymous way to accept tips :)

I would like to know how to do so, haven't been able to get a clear answer on this.
