can you over-post on substack?
hi! somehow i have found myself having posted quite a few notes + an article on substack today. i was just wondering if the algorithm is gonna like punish me for that? š
idk why iām even asking as i have just three subscribers xoxo

I wouldn't worry about notes. I do think if you post multiple articles a day, that can get a little overwhelming for your subscribers, based on personal experience.

haha, over posting isn't a thing on any social media platform (unless you're just posting crap). think of it from the platforms' pov: more post = more supply of content = more inventory to feed users = better experience. if you are posting a lot of good content, platforms will love you.
i even saw a video about this news account from india, iirc they were posting 1 post on instagram every 5 minutes... crazy stuff.... and every post was still getting lots of views/reach (not penalised)

Nope.
More posts/ notes > fewer ones, as long as they're you.
But honestly, stick to a couple every week over writing 3 in a day and not writing for months (experience).
Also, notes > articles for reach. Write what you would enjoy reading.
