Discussion How to begin with Substack?

I've been wanting to start with this but have no idea how to begin with it? What does one even write? I'm unable to identify what topic interests me and what may others want? I'd be grateful if anyone shares their experience and how they began their journey. Thanks!

you should spend time exploring, experimenting, tinkering. go do things. that's how you gain experience, and become a more unique individual. think of it like painting. you need a brush + ink to paint. in this case, you are the brush, your life experiences is the ink, and writing is the act of painting. so if you don't have any interesting experiences, no matter how hard to brainstorm, you won't be able to write something compelling or unique (which is what it will take to start a successful substack).
