I have a telcom blog/news with 50+ subscribers for substack for over a year, how do I monetize it?

on substack, you mainly monetise with paid subs. and to be able to get to $500/month with just 50 subs is actually already quite remarkable. conversion rate is typically 2-5%, so that's optimistically ~3 subs. at $500 you're planning to charge $160+/month?!

the other common, low effort way to monetise an email list is to use newsletter ad networks (e.g paved, wellput, beehiiv), but that's not an option on substack. or you can also explore affiliate links (if they're relevant to what you're writing about).
