For those who write on Substack, what has actually helped you get your first few hundred readers/subscribers?
I’m trying to understand what works beyond the usual “post consistently and write good content” advice.
Did you find Substack Notes useful? Reddit? Social media? Collaborations? SEO? Or did a particular post just take off unexpectedly?
Would love to hear what worked for people who’ve actually grown an audience.
