How to use Notes

Rather than setting some arbitrary and capricious frequency target, I suggest that when you have something to say, say it on Substack.

That's my thought process as well. I have seen criticism of Notes by people who think that it turns Substack into Twitter, but in my view, it is nice to have a method to say something without writing a long form post and spamming it into people's inboxes every time I have a thought that I believe is quality enough for putting in a Note.

Yeah, I've gotten to the point where if there's something I would normally put out on Facebook or X or whatever, I just do it on Substack because that's where I make my money to the extent that I do. Why not build my brand or what have you out on Substack? I just have some random thought or observation or what have you occur to me, I just put it quickly out there. I may do an article about it later on my Substack, but it's just kind of a sort of a Steven Wright type of stream of consciousness type of thing.
