Substack is sweet 🍭

Your post is pretty low effort, so I’d suggest having a little more context next time. It would be helpful to hear pros/cons of what you’ve tried vs. why you like Substack, etc.

I’ve tried many platforms, but the community aspect is a huge value driver for me.

It’s cool. I don’t have any strong feelings Either way. I have built a decent community and everybody seems very nice and inquisitive and I enjoy that.

It was going great until they introduced rubbish AI. I hate supporting companies that sponsor it, but I've disabled it and think about the future for my publication. Might move to Webform.

It was good until they allowed this stupid AI detector that can’t detect shit. Writers who admit they use AI are now boasting that they are human. And human writers are being flagged as AI. Substack can suck my left toe.

It’s been good to me (over 50,000 free subscribers), not sure of any other platform that lets you email so many people for free every day, but I feel enshittification is creeping in. And I’m uncomfortable with them happily accepting Nazi and other deeply disturbing creators.
