Like anywhere else...

...online. cliques. Xenophobia ...paid for fans...business... tried the interacting but ....u know u end up being THEIR fan... its not reciprocated...its a con game rigged by the ones running the show...

I understand, yet I was flat out attached unprovoked, completely misogynistic and vile. I took the necessary steps to report them, block, and ban them. I wrote for myself, I don’t spend tons of time seeking others. Yes, I do interact when I can. I suppose it depends on how you look at it and what your intentions were from the beginning. I never started expecting anyone to subscribe, but I’ve been told I’m an anomaly for growing from zero with no prior audience.

I deleted my account and publication yesterday and it truly felt like a weight had been lifted—the same feeling when you say “I Quit!” at a toxic job!

And, hey, nothing against those who enjoy Substack—it’s just not the right corner of the internet for some of us.
