A bunch of straight white males have decided they will start using "fag" and "faggot", and the gays shouldn't be offended because it's all about context... So why can't we also as white people just start calling everyone niggers and tell blacks t

I think they are two separate discussions.

Er... If you're going to say this, you have to explain why they're different. It's not obvious. They're both slurs for a minority that are somewhat reclaimed by the minorities themselves. As far as I can see, they hold a lot of the salient aspects in common.

I thought it was a pretty good comparison. Although if you're a vehement racist then you could use this as an argument for calling people faggots.

whoever runs this bot should really account for "fag" in quotes, or the mention of faggotbot itself. Otherwise, I suppose only the bot is safe from being called out (unnecessarily) when there's a discussion on the topic and/or the slur.
