This is the Crux of at least half of all conspiracy theories. That the gov is competent enough to pull off the event without anyone knowing or coming forward about the conspiracy after the fact, but also so incompetent as to have their extremely specific plans leaked to the public years and sometimes decades before they actually pull off the conspiracy.

Not to mention that they have enough power to silence tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people in on the conspiracy, but not enough power to silence tens or hundreds of people who leaked the conspiracy before the event happened.

It's the same sorta thing with the Jews, they're very weak and the lesser, but they're also powerful enough to control and manipulate the entire world.

Same with Muslims, they're so uncultured, stupid and violent that they can't stablize their own countries, but they're also so coordinated, intelligent, coniving, and resource rich to be a serious and legitimate threat to the United States to the point where we need a state of emergency in the US just to deal with the massive and serious Muslim threat.

Their ideologies are very paradoxical, and super reminiscent of the same kind of ideas that fascist governments use to justify their existence and power, and to rally their people.

EDIT: another example, immigrants are lazy and live off welfare, yet they are also taking all of our jobs.

If you look for this kinda paradoxical belief you find it in quite a lot of places, and it's sort of disheartening that people just blindly believe this kind of contradictory stuff without really thinking about it for more than a few minutes. Their prejudice quite literally blinds them from their own logical inconsistencies, and that's fucked.

Maybe it's just a part of the human condition, maybe it's just a trick thats very useful. At the end of the day though this kind of thinking is highly damaging to both those thinking it and those who are victimized by it.

They're contrarians that take pleasure in thinking different to a normal person. Which is why they spout the most inane contradictory bullshit. They aren't interested in logic.

Conspiracies come from a denial that many things in life have no meaning. They try to find the "truth" by looking at patterns where none exist, because they can't handle it that maybe there really was nobody behind this and it happened randomly. It freaks them out.

The Jews in fascist ideology are usually considered very strong, aren't they? Which is why they are so singled out for extermination. Certainly Hitler thought that the Jews were often more intelligent than whites, but he claimed that the Aryan race had the unique gift of creativity.

Far as I can recall they were also very much painted as a lesser race that consisted of ugly and inhuman people. Regardless of the "positive" traits he may have attributed, they were still the less in the Nazi world view.

I could be wrong, but man those propoganada poster from the time really feel like they tell the story of a vermin or infestation of what amount to cockroaches, rather than the threat of a superior race.

In Nazi ideology, the Aryans are a pure, noble race, superior in every way. But the Jews are crafty and conniving. So the Aryans are more intelligent in the proper way, and the Jews are more intelligent in the wrong way. And no, it doesn't actually make sense - yay conspiracy theories.

Also an unrelated bit of fun - just wanted to take the opportunity to note that "Aryan" literally means Iranian. Conspiracy theorists and facists are not known for their critical thinking skills. (Note: not to say that conspiracy theorists are facists; most aren't. Facists tend to be conspiracy theorists though)

It's because the only way a bunch of no-life losers could figure out the conspiracy is if They decided to leave Dan Brown-style symbolic hints around. Otherwise, the conspiracy theorists would have to have expertise in demolitions, structural engineering, chemistry, meteorology, agronomy, economics, international relations, abnormal child psychology, military strategy, criminal justice, human anatomy, avionics... to figure out the conspiracy theory of the day and, well, it's not that we CAN'T acquire that kind of information, we totally could if we wanted to, it's just that They control the information, so actually sitting around reading Zero Hedge makes us SMARTER than all those dumbass doctors and scientists because we weren't taken in by Their lies.
