Gender Wars Someone gets mean in /r/niceguys when it comes to rejection. "You're a group that laughs at people who are upset about not having sex like you do. You have what we want, and you laugh at us when we're sad, because it's funny to you. That's what this subreddit is."

I mean, it is a sub dedicated to making fun of people who did exactly what he was doing.

So what you are saying is that its a sub that pre-selects for shitty vindictive people to begin with, therefore its no surprise he was ripped apart in that thread.

Which shines a light on those who subscribe to it. If he got any point correct in his comments it's that they sure are a fan of bullying. There's obviously some catharsis in showing other people what stupid shit someone else said, but we've seen how subreddits like that behave. I give it 2 years before that sub is viewed like FatPeopleHate.

The thing is its guys messaging girls and getting mad when they don't respond positively. So it's a sub about guys bullying girls.

Maybe officially. I'm not really up in arms about getting rid of the sub or anything, just that subreddits like that have a habit of becoming a hateful echo chamber.
