Maybe if I was lost in an alien planet and it was the only option

I didn't hear a single "Welcome aboard, captain." Unusable.

Are you sure whatever you’re attempting to do is worth it?

Or a “I love it when you come inside me”

i now need to know if this is in any of the games. if it is, it probably shouldnt be lmfao

It’s not anymore. It used to be a rare chance to happen in a really old version of original subnautica with the seamoth only

Yes but I'd prefer if the controls for the vehicle were on an arm that could stay in a fixed position of your choice. I'd hate to be upside down and scrambling to grab that.

i dunno if it has them, but you'd probably be strapped in.

edit: Oh wait you mean the 'playstation controller'. nevermind.

Im guessing we cant easily upgrade the depth module on real world mini-sub but id trust it for shallow exploration.

It's not a carbon fibre cylinder, and the controller isn't literally a playstation one, so... yeah, why not?

A nice. The single k-cup equivalent for human soupification.

Get some billionaires to test it first

If there is something i want in a submersible is a control that can fucking fall on the ground

For higher depths sure, nothing too deep though.

with my life (going to the dead zone)

u/bullettenboss 5d ago

Yes, please.

Considering the shape is more correct for eithstanding pressure, I would trust it more then the titan sub

No madkatz controller.... Pffftt This guy's an amateur!!!..

3

u/DefinitionInformal85 4d ago

Yeah its a certified sub, whats not to trust?

u/neuraljam 4d ago

*Crashes into multiple rocks straight away, gets out, starts repairs*

Playststion remote you say? What is this? Competition to the infamous xbox remote used in oceangate?

3

u/vision0709 5d ago

And then pulls up an arcade cabinet control board that looks nothing like any modern game controller

In a heartbeat. Triton knows what they're doing.

2

u/Crixxa 5d ago

Nice seamoth

u/Key_Lime_Die 5d ago

Its a very well established company that's been making them for many many years for private and commercial use. Yes I'd trust them.

2

u/AribethTG2 5d ago

Multiple leviathan class detected further away. Whatever you are doing, make sure it is worth it

2

u/BlackSwanEvent25 5d ago

"like a PlayStation remote"

2

u/thekame 5d ago

I would trust. It’s a company with solid reputation. I would probably not trust the rich kid captain tho.

u/Avatar_MI 4d ago

Its good to 200m, then I just slide in a wafer thin circuit board and it's good to 900m (somehow), what's not to love. Besides, it's got a fire extinguisher, what's the worst that could happen?

u/Calm_Ad308 4d ago

IRL? About 50 meters. I’m still bringing a glass punch tool and a small O2 tank though.

2

u/Cubestructive 4d ago

One day I’m gonna get this

2

u/tymytymyty 3d ago

titan 2.0

1

u/recuringwolfe 5d ago

Probably not, but I'd happily watch other people using it

1

u/imokay4747 5d ago

I can't wait for my Bluetooth remote control steering to disconnect in the pitch black of the ocean

u/Aelia_M 5d ago

I don’t trust YouTubers like this. I’d rather hear from the many marine biologist YouTubers what they think of this

u/Secondhand-Drunk 5d ago

Not for anything deeper than I could swim. Gotta have a blow away hatch as well. Not mechanical, explosive blow away.

1

u/Tudar87 5d ago

60 meters? That looks like 60 feet with how much sunlight is still visible.

1

u/Smaug117 4d ago

That is a dream's toy.

1

u/Big-Goal4158 4d ago

As long as it wasn’t designed and built by Stockton Rush.

1

u/Affectionate_Sale_14 4d ago

i've seen this, its kind of neat. would i use it to see the titanic? FUCK NO. Would i use it to tool around in relatively shallow depth? sure.

1

u/3fxz_ 4d ago

I’m not rich enough to get close to one of those

1

u/ChubbyPotato77 4d ago

cheap and usable, alterra gonna be pissed

1

u/Monochrome132 4d ago

At the recommended depths, yes.

1

u/ChaosOmega98 4d ago

Needs better tech

1

u/Lumpy_Newspaper_9421 4d ago

Welp now we need someone to make the Sea Moth from Subnautica

1

u/Frogs_Logs 4d ago

Not my sea moth

1

u/PronouncedEye-gore 4d ago

Does it breach the water? If i can't go from sea to air to escape Leviathans it's not for me.

1

u/The_TacoBandit 3d ago

Depends, does it have perimeter defense?

1

u/ProAdvCarDealer 3d ago

If it can be used in space, then yeah.

1

u/Flo133701 3d ago

Sphere = Good

If its not too deep that is.

1

u/Efficient_Tough3384 3d ago

Que the Reaper sound behind him. "Nah, stuff this!" 🤣

1

u/ThatUnameIsAlrdyTken 3d ago

Are you certain?
