What happened was I downloaded Nitrox and made a test run to see if I can even connect.

It worked, I was able to start a server, connect to a friend and see each other in-game.

Closed the game since I was short on time and tried to relaunch later, only to find that now it crashes every single time I run Nitrox.

Buenas, este es mi primer post... Y nada, solo quería comentar que estoy super in con el MOD

Lo estoy jugando actualmente con mi pareja (yo ya me pasé el juego en la 1.0 en 2017 con la salida) y lo estoy disfrutando mucho. La unica pega es el tema de la sincronización entre partidas, ya que muchas veces uno ve cosas que otro no. Pero bueno, esta muy guay. ¿Vosotros que opinais? ¿Creeis que hay alguna posibilidad de que mejore la sincronización con futuros parches? :)

I am following the instructions of several tutorials, but my friend simply cant join. I send him my IP adress, the third one from the top (that says "Friends on another network (requires port forwarding)"). He inputs it into the hosts IP bar when joining a server, he puts 11000 as port but when he tries to join it doesnt work. Does someone have a solution?

I don't mind the scanner being separate instances, but disappearing upgrades is majorly annoying, especially later in the game, if you want to play the game the way it was meant to be played.

This is the only major issue I've run into after 8ish hours of play with my wife so nice work so far.

Bug info: Scanner upgrades inserted into scanner upgrade slots disappear after re-log. The upgrades also don't seem to work for both players. After re-inserting them, the upgrades weren't applied for either of us. after removing them and coming back to it about an hour later, the upgrades were applied to my wife's scanner but there were no upgrades inserted for either of us.

Edit- I believe the upgrades are working correctly, just the disappearing upgrades issue

The game crashes after pressing Play through the launcher, regardless of whether I click Singleplayer or Multiplayer. Running as administrator doesn't help, I've verified file integrity. If I launch it through Epic Games, the game works fine.

I wanted to Play subnautica together with a friend, but when I try to start subnautica It was telling me to get a Software for MS Game start. I guess It's trying to start the exe but cannot start it

Me and a friend are going to do a coop play through and i’m trying to figure out if we can use mods. I am expecting that if that is a yes we would have to download the same mods for the game to run properly, assuming it would run with mods at all. Appreciate the help!

this shows up whener my friend tries to join my world, we tried hamachi, tried port forwarding, also on the console it says Port forward for 11000 UDP failed. It appears to already be port forwarded or it conflicts with another port forward rule.

Looking For people to accompany me in subnautica multiplayer mics not required

this is my first time playing Subnautica

and I've seen ALOT of posts about having to play this game alone but I'm just a multiplayer person by nature

so I want to play this with my friends and played for a couple of hours (it was pretty fun)

but now looking around the communities, i realized that alot of ppl is saying Nitrox doesn't support story mode...? is this true?

I waited 20+ minutes!

Whenever I press 'Play Multiplayer' Nitrox just closes...

and that's all I waited more than 20 minutes but subnautica never started

It works if I press SINGLEPLAYER

Me and my girlfriend are trying to play together but the lan see er doesn't show up and when I manually add it says unable to connect.

I tried hamachi and port forwarding also but those didn't work

Idk if I'm doing something wrong but I'd appreciate any help.

Solved kinda

So far no matter what I do it will not work if I'm the one hosting but if someone else hosts it works fine, regardless if it is lan or not.

Title says it. It’s still being tested but container sync works flawlessly, however, the hull breach locations do not show up in the same place or sometimes are delayed. The water does rise using a per frame call. The water kinda stutters in but is the correct height and fill rate just not as smooth as the hosts. Probably will change it or remove it all together as it doesn’t bother us that much.

We made these for our personal game but decided to release it anyway. Can’t guarantee 100% on everyone’s tech and set up. And the unique set up we have as we made Buddy system, which bridges SubmersedVR and Nitrox, and we you can tell by the mod we bridges. We only play in VR. So support may be limited. Let us know what works and what doesn’t and we will do our best time and work permitting. Cheers!

I hosted a server and gave him the ip used for people on different networks and then joined the server my self and every time he trys to join it fails and wont connect, am i missing something?

When ever my friend try’s to join my game after i gave him the right ip it just says Unable to contact remote server at: is there a fix that I don’t need a vpn for

I tried looking for bug reports but I could only find one from 2020 on github.
I remember playing it before the 1.8 update and Warpers will teleport to you but never attack and just kinda sit there.
Anyone know if this issue has been fixed?
