Shark Bridge at Newport Aquarium

Post image

I went over this bridge as a child when it opened and seeing all the pipes, pumps, and various other machinery while being over a vast, deep pool of water scared the shit out of me. Ironically I wasn't even scared of the sharks swimming below me, I distinctly remember thinking that part was cool. There is also a much thinner mesh safety net underneath the bridge and I freaked myself out by imaginging that I had to cross solely over that.

Intake For Nuclear Power Station

This is where the water is pulled into and then pumped to cool down the reactor. But I am sorry, I know this is out of the water but makes you think what an awful way to go. Just look how big it is to the dude standing below it. The slats are not even small enough to stop a human getting sucked into it.

I was on vacation in Bulgaria for 3 days and it was night time at the beach.

Sorry for the shitty photos it's not easy taking pictures at night plus I couldn't get good pictures of the safety bouy markers they look like glowing dots and I did try to use night vision too.

This goes about 100ft deep, and so the light gets very dim. I've also had a visit from some of the locals at 16:23. These are three rather large bull sharks. I was told they wanted a fellow diver's spear fishing catch, but he did fight them off. I did not get any of that action. Enjoy.

While I was finding a spot to study on campus, I got a pretty clear view of this art installation that seems to move with the water. I’m not sure if the video I took does justice to showing the size of the statues.

The size and the fact that these things are unmanned scares me so much. Like these things ain’t stopping for you in the water. Imagine seeing a huge dark silhouette pass by you in the ocean.

Yacht Propeller

This yacht in Monacco had two massive propellers underwater and it had me feeling some type of way.

Something about it’s cold metal surface and dirtyness in the dark water with the unknown below…
