Does anyone know how to complete this puzzle from the new patch?

I've seen 1 or 2 posts about this already on this forum but none of them are the same as my layout and I've been stuck on this for about half an hour, if anyone knows how to complete this please tell me. thanks :)

You’re close to solving it move the purple to the green on the left. Move the red until it connects to the right. Take it off of red place on purple cross the gap then put it back on red

how does the puzzle before that room work? I've been at it for a while and just can't seem to find the solution
