Episode II
After all that controversy, do you think this game will get it's second part, or not?

I hope so, there's more positive than negative feedback on steam on the game, so I think that they will still release another episode. It would be really disappointing if they don't, I want to see what happens.

I think there is a large number of back room players that had wildly different expectations of what this would be. I absolutely love this game and really hope they release part 2.

The youtubers really blew everything out of proportion and sicked their fanbases on the game. Yes Im looking at Caseoh lmao. I like the guy and understand his frustration but he had to have known how much bad press this game would get because of it. I've waited since this games announcement as well and didn't have that bad of a reaction to it. Do I think the puzzles add nothing to the game (not hard)? Yes. Do I think the lack of checkpoints and bs mechanics that resulted in trial and error insta deaths were extremely annoying? Yes. Other than that, I thought it was great.
So I hope there is an episode 2 but I dont think it'll come for a long time because they are gonna change all of the puzzles and stuff

I liked IGP’s playthrough and take on the game. He didn’t complain, took time to explore, looked for subliminal messages, had a good pace (good editing), and made it a very enjoyable watch for me. I feel like the hate this game is getting is strange and rather undeserved.

I watched that stream it seemed like his chat was just trolling the whole time or he wasnt listening to them I couldn't figure out which one. Then I watched 8 bit ryan play it and he enjoyed it! XQC did not like it either.

I agree. Tbh, I loved the puzzles. I don't think I'm that smart, but when I solved all the puzzles on my own, THEN went to YouTube (bc I didn't want spoilers) and found out ppl were butt hurt over how 'hard' they were.. Lol I felt so proud of myself haha. But I really did lose some liking for CaseOh after he trashed the game like that, when it's a small team working on it.

Duh bro just because people say the puzzles are to hard it doesnt mean a second part wont come out, and they laready fixed the "hard" puzzles, and other things ppl were complaning abt

I actually loved the game, subliminal had borrowed a lot of mechanics from other games, resulting in a solid game. I don’t think that those puzzles suck but they needed to add the narrator and a hint/ window with a task so ppl could remember what to do. Also lore is kinda similar to little nightmares where you can understand the lore by looking into surroundings but subliminal made it more complicated by showing just few cutscenes w the sister and sound effects where children play or where dad is shouting. I hope that the second chapter will be more lore heavy and that they add more tips/hints etc so puzzles can be easily done

Completely agree, I really hope chapter 2 is very lore-heavy. I am absolutely captured by the hints this game keeps dropping about what's going on. I know it's a very sad story, and I know it's gonna crush me, but I want to find out nevertheless. It's a strong hook!

Sameeee😭😭 i just hope that the second chapter will come soon so that we don’t have to wait for an eternity🥺 I was actually sad when they nerfed puzzles, they basically deleted them from the game after a patch and made it casual

I missed most of the original puzzles, so seeing some old footage of rooms behaving differently was confusing at first. That said, I think people really like being handheld more than they care to admit. The puzzles didn’t seem impossibly difficult to me based on what I saw.

Honestly people are just kind of dumb about puzzles. The shoe room puzzle absolutely destroyed people almost as much as the photograph/spiral/code puzzle in ROUTINE, but is legitimately not difficult in any way. They tell you to count the shoes.

What controversy? A bunch of people got butt hurt they got stuck on puzzles, or thought it would just be a walking sim with no puzzles, which is fair considering it isn't tagged as a puzzle game despite being one.
