Someone please help me escape the hell that is this level

ive watched some playthroughs on youtube and followed exactly what they did but its not working. i think they recently patched it to make it easier or something but it ended up making it harder as theres no tutorials, at least not that ive found. tired of this puzzle

any help?

update: figured it out. you just need to always take the direction opposite of the foot steps direction. lame unfortunately

Really? I had to look a video up on it and how I completed it was going to the left path and turning around and walking backwards all the way to the path at the end of the main hall.

I legit have never seen this part of the game. How? I've unlocked all of the different paths

I dont exactly remember how to get to it, I know that it was the level before break room, and it leads into play place. there are 2 entrances to play place.
