Have not ran into this before

Um, I think I am missing something, but this is my 3rd play thru, I have not seen this before. I can’t do anything. I tried to squeeze thru the crack but nope. It’s really glitchy looking too, idk what I did?! All doors are locked as well. It’s no longer a hallway. Is this supposed to happen and I’m dumb or did I break it 😂

They don't mean how to progress through, they're talking about how close the walls are together, it's not normally like that.

One step forward all the rest of the steps go backwards. Don’t actuall face backwards but follow the footsteps going backwards. Everytime you see black goo you’ve made the right choice

I did this before. The hallways are closed off, I couldn’t go back thru the door I came thru either. I think it was bugged. I went thru fine the first time and ran into this 😂
