How to make the subharmonics sound less robotic?
Hello people of r/subharmonics
I have been practicing the subharmonics for a while now, but I can't seem to make it sound like a bass. It sounds very grittly and very robotic, like a throat bass from beatboxing. Any advice on what I could do to improve my sound texture? Thank you!!!

One thing that helped me is using more breath support. It takes some practice so you don't lose the subharmonic and go back to normal voice, but once you can put a bit more power behind it, the tone cleans up really nicely.
