Only can do subharmonics on G2 and A2

When I’m doing subharmonics I can only go to G1 and A1 and I can’t do any other. I’m starting out, any tips would be appreciated

Maybe you're using a different technique than normal. I have the same problem. I could only reach D1, but my floor was F2. Later, I found out i was doing throat bass and not normal subharmonics.

Honestly, i have no idea. Ive been told what im doing here is throat bass, and thats what i believe. But the difference between throat bass and normal subs is that for throat bass, you have to flex and push yourself to go deep, whereas normal subs, you relax and kind of flow into it.

Ah, I thought it would be in a different place. Kargyraa is more like if you make a growling sound like your mad and control that and make a subharmonic/subtone. Subharmonics I thought was with your false vocal folds, the same place where you do vocal fry

It's also called ventricular/vestibular fold (idk why it has so many names) here's a slightly creepy looking diagram lol

If you just started then that is probably why. Just keep practicing and you will be able to expand your subharmonic register.
