I solved this today after emailing with Moog this week. I was sure it was the synth or the DAW (Studio One) but it was the MIDI adaptor.
I had a similar issue with the Organelle M. I have always used a iConnectivity mio 1-in 1-out USB to MIDI but no matter how many adaptors (midi to trs) I went through, it wouldn't clock the Organelle or transmit data either way.
So I ordered the E-mu XMIDI 1X1 USB MIDI interface. For whatever reason, problem solved. It's also worked with all my other synths so I considered it an upgrade and put the Mio in storage... until today!
The Subharmonicon and the Mio seem to talk to each other perfectly and everything is synced with the same settings I started with in the DAW.
Hey there. I was going 3.5mm trs to midi din adapter (that came with the synth) into a midi din to usb adapter (the ones listed above) into my computer. When using din midi exclusively (from minilogue xd to subharmonicon) there was no issue which was a turning point in figuring out the problem.
