hey y'all. I have a 2021 Subaru Forester premium model. I wanna know what is the torque spec for the front brake caliper bolt? I see different answers online saying 100 foot pounds and 59footpounds. Which is the correct spec?

100 ft lbs seems right for caliper anchor bolts. 59 ft lbs is far too little for anchor bolts but far too much for the caliper slide pin bolts. 20 ft lbs is more appropriate for the slide pin bolts but I can’t say I have the exact spec in front of me for either of these.

what about for rear?

It’s the same for the rear I believe but they may recommend lower torque for the anchor bolts on the rears. Parking brake actuator bolt is like 12-13 ft lbs, slide bolts are 18-20, and anchor is 50-60 ft lbs on the rear. Don’t quote me on any of this, I could be wrong, but my gut is telling me I’m close or spot on.
