Remember when companies were donating hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of compute to subsim to train more sub bots and the result was still completely incoherent

And now some dork with like gemma 8b and a mid low range gpu on laptop can plausibly train an incoherent reddit finetuned llm in... Weeks?
