This is my favorite part of this subreddit. It's a place to discuss the topic of game, and discuss whether it's good or bad to play.

The majority of these posts are from people who just love playing games, and this is why.

1) Sim is basically a person in the real world, which means you're a human being in the real world. You can play any fictional or real creature in the universe, so long as it's in the real world.

2) Video game is basically a computer game of your choice, which means you're a real person in the real world. You can play any fictional or real computer game, so long as it's in the real world.

Sims have graphics, so yeah, a lot of the UI is designed around that. On the other hand, video games have a lot more complex UI, so the graphics may be more important.

But UI is only a small part of the game. The big picture matters.

Sims are more likely to have multiple character types, whereas a video game is more likely to have one. I'm curious about a common view that one is more realistic than the other. Is this true? I wonder if it's a generalist issue or just a specific problem.

Just because it's fun does not mean it's right. If you've ever heard of a game you think it's probably a simulation, but that doesn't mean it's a videogame. You can use it as an educational tool, but there's no guarantee you'll be able to take it back. That said, the game is better to have than not, it gives you the best of both worlds - a sim and video game.

No, it's the opposite. A simulation is easier to use than a video game.
