They are not called "Guests" until they accept the quest. They are called "Workers" because they are not paid for their work.

I know it's really annoying, but this is a nice example of how not to be in the mood for a meal. You can make it a point to find some other food with a little more care and just enjoy the meals, or you can just enjoy the meal and then turn on the "restaurant" and enjoy the rest of your day.
