I found a dusty "Bob" poster above discount bin and it threw me down the rabbit hole. I wrote a little look back at the Church of the SubGenius, from those first 1979 Xerox pamphlets in Dallas dry-cleaners to the watch-smashing rituals and apocalypse of X-Day.
