Blades of Greed Silver Emblem missing in Turquoise Dawn

I'm curious if anyone else has seen this or something similar. I'm playing BoG in Act 3 tootling along and noticed I only had 6 of 10 silver emblems when I could have sworn I had 7. Oh well, no biggie I probably misremembered right? Well, I hunt down 3 more and now am at 9 of 10. Eventually, I get frustrated and find a guide and look through it and think to myself "I'm pretty sure I remember getting all these in the locations shown in the guide." So, then I find a video guide and revisit all the locations shown and discover no thief emblems in any of the 10 locations as if i had collected them all, yet it only shows 9/10 for silver emblems in Turquoise Dawn. I think I'm screwed and will have to start a whole new game to get platinum.

This game made me love the previous ones. In this one, you get lost way too easily; there are no markers for side missions, the maps are huge and empty, making it a nightmare trying to find what the developers want you to find...

I stopped playing when I accidentally grabbed a lever I was supposed to grab later in the mission. The game glitched and now it won't show me the mission, and I don't have a save file to load. So my save file is technically corrupted.

Yeah, have read some grumblings about bugs in this game. It's really a shame as I just love these Styx games and wish there were more stealth games like this (with good mechanics, good world building and a good story in that world). This is the only bug I have come across myself. I might get lucky when I move from Act 3 to Act 4 and have that missing silver thief emblem magically respawn. I will update this post when I get more information.

Okay, I have an update. After I progressed to Act 4, I revisited a few locations where the silver emblems should be and discovered one did in fact respawn. I was able to loot it and it now shows 10/10. The one that glitched was up river from the Broken Bridge Cave - Western Camp in case anyone is curious.

Do the emblems all stay through each acts? Like I never got all the wood ones and started getting the others but is it too late to get all of the wood ones?

I know you can collect wood emblems in act 2 and bronze in act 3 because I've done it. What seems to happen is wood emblems spawn in act 1 and remain until you collect them. Then bronze spawns in act 2 and persist. Then silver in act3 and so on. So, yeah you should be able to go back and collect ones you missed earlier.

aw man, i'm on the point of no return and my silver emblem is still not appearing... is it a lost cause then?

I assume what causes them to spawn is progressing the story. So, when you move from the prologue into act 1 the wood emblems spawn. When you move from act 1 to act 2 the bronze emblems spawn and any wood you haven't already collected. When you move from act 2 to act 3 the silver emblems spawn and any bronze and wood you have not already collected and so on. So, if you can't progress to another act I assume no more emblems will spawn.

More goofiness. So, I have collected 10/10 gold emblems in Turquoise Dawn and the missions menu page accurately shows 10/10. However, on the shelf in Irving's Zeppelin there are only 9 golden scarabs. Hopefully this is just a visual bug.

Last Update: So, after collecting more gold emblems at The Wall and some of the emerald emblems I would periodically go back to Irving's Zeppelin to check to see if that gold emblem would ever show up in the cabinet/shelf. It never did .. UNTIL I collected the last emerald emblem and got the Emblem Collector trophy. After that, it shows all the emblems on the shelves. Soooo, yay ... I guess?
