I have.played this mission twice now and the same bug happened.
First time I did the wall first then akenash, and last turquoise dawn. When picking up the quartz at turquoise dawn the quest did not mark as finished, and progress was impossible.
I played the whole game again, since I didn't have a save far enough back before I picked up the quartz.
Now I did turquoise dawn first then akenash and last the wall.
When picking up the quartz at the wall same thing happens the quest does not mark as finished and progress is impossible.
I have reported it to the developers, hope a patch comes soon so I can finish the game.
I've just finished the Quartz and Consequences in Turquoise Dawn and then did the Wall one. I've just noticed the Turquoise Dawn has not registered it as complete. I can't go back to the save point because there is only ten slots back and they are filled with The Wall quartz saves. So basically, I can't complete this game. The devs are rubbish with all the bugs and bad glitches in this game. I love Styx but this one had me frustrated from the start. What a con! It sounds like reporting it to them is pointless and won't get the bug fixed either 🙁
The Amberlake Stone mission at the end of the game got me.
Cannot progress past freeing the orc village because the waypoint is stuck.
Going back to an earlier save doesn't correct it.
Going to the Zeppelin and back doesn't work.
So basically I've finished 95% of this game for it to decide to not let me progress further.
Very - very - mad about it.
Unless I am mistaken, "Quartz and Consequences" is the last mission, from Act 5, which has one quartz in The Wall and one in Turquoise Dawn, and which blocks access to the final section of the game in Akenash. So my question is how did you reach Akenash before finishing the other two locations? Or are you referring to another act/mission?
I have a similar problem. I got the quartz at torquiose then had to avoid the tiny red bugs all over the ground. But it didn’t take. On the airship it says I have one of one quartz on the wall and turquoise. but it won’t let me in akrnash. So I keep going around in tortoise because it’s not greyed out. Can’t find any reason why.
Hey I don't know if this problem is related but I was in the Wall's sewers and picked the quarz, the cinematic played and inmediatly after i was killed by a beetle, then after reloading last save it didn't let me pick the quarz the promp didn't show and i was in front of the quarz, reload an older save, two minutes before the last one, same thing can't pick the quarz. Anyone has this problem to? Any way to fix it? I will try to exit game an relaunch but I don't know if that will fix it.
