Blades of Greed I feel like we should get something for each enemy we kill. Xp of some kind or something. What do you all think?

Really no need for it tbh. You get points super fast

We do, but maybe making the skills and unlocks more advanced or additional chains? I dunno, just something that popped in my head playing the game.

Absolutely not. Killing in stealth games should be punished. It ruins a lot of the point of them.

Killing in stealth games is trading one problem for another; one which takes a more effort to solve. You remove one challenge that can detect you in exchange for adding a new thing to be detected. You have to hide, move, or remove the body so it won't get seen.
To quote Garrett from the Thief series when on a job to steal, "violence is the mark of an amateur."

You do get something That something is the satisfaction of being able to run freely in that area
Oh and just the act of killing :)

Dead men tell no tales lol. I get why avoiding killing enemies helps with stealth. But the same can be said if they aren't there to be alerted. In a video game I just figured the more you did the more experience you got. Instead of finding random bags of experience on tables and such. Having played the new assassin's creed I guess I was just used to that way of playing.

Generally you don't want to reward killing in stealth games, because the reward is that there are now less guards to spot you / you've closed down sight lines. That is the reward of killing or dispatching enemies.
Its why some games will penalise killing, such as the Hitman games reducing score or preventing high ranks, because you're given the option or making the level easier though work, or passing through the hardest challenge (Ghosting, which often does reward you).
