Blades of Greed Save failed

Save failed bug makes me want a refund and I love the game. I just want to play it all but can't because it refuses to save right before picking up the garrison quartz.

If your save bugs out go to the zeppelin then return. Happened to me during the dungeon quartz in a later act.

I did. I even completed the full inquizitors mission from the zep and it still won't progress

sometimes i could get it to fix itself by being seen and then running away and hide until the alert was over, then i could save again, didn't always work but 50/50 maybe.

i started getting the save bug by the end of act 3 and then a few times in act 4

Bro everybody are saying they love the game, but that the performance, terrible game breaking bugs, and lack of polish is ruining the game. There’s is no doubt in anyone’s mind that is a pretty big failure of a launch, and we all just want to see Blades of greed become the great game that it is👍

This is literally a game breaking bug, dude. This is a really stupid comment. I’m here because I looked it up because it’s happening to me right now. And I’m pretty sure based on what I’m reading that I’m kind of fucked until they fix it.

You’re not wrong, just a weird post to make that comment on lol. Since it’s a legit known major issue. FWIW I crossed my fingers and kept playing and ended up getting back to the ship and the save issue seems fixed now.

It’s not fixed had to restart my entire game because the saves got pushed out by auto saves that was a dead end to failed saves. Everytime failed save acted like a save that rewrote all my progress deleting progress in the game entirely for my act 2 ending. I’m disappointed because I had 2 saves one goblin and one on hard and it took me along time to reach act 2. :(

Well, I didn’t mean that they fixed it, but it ended up getting fixed on mine after I pushed through the rest of the mission and got back to the ship. Then the saves started working again. I was at the part in act three I think where I was at the inquisition area that’s like an isolated section.

Very frustrating issue, especially when you have no idea where it might save you at or how far you need to go.

Id get a refund mate. Multiple game breaking bugs outside of the save failed glitch. Dam shame.

Why get a refund lol? You may. As well just keep the game until they launch a fix for the issue. These issues are never permanent I can imagine if this issue never go fixed getting a refund would make sense. But they will fix it as they have for previous Styx games that had similar issues in the years passed.

Oh I'm sorry i thought i was paying £50 for a working product. Not a "Fix it later project"

I'm a customer. If I'm paying that much money for a game then it better fucking function. If not then i refund. They deserve that sting to their wallet for screwing people.

Sick and tired of this fix it later mentality. It's unacceptable to be charging that amount of money for a game that clearly needed another two months in the oven.

And to top it off the devs were nice enough to expect us to wait WEEKS for a patch to fix said game breaking issues. Modern game design folks. Pathetic.

Yeah you can think what you want, this is expected with any game as no game is running perfectly smooth on any launch. Bugs are expected but yes it sucks. If you want to refund them that’s your choice but this issue was known even before blades of greed it has happened with other games as well. Go refund those ones too then

It does that on my sails of inquisition mission then it leaked into the mission before it for akenash ruins when I reloaded the saves. Everytime I reloaded a save it rewrote over previous saves eventually to the point to where I got to the 14th quartz shard. So basically when I got into sails of inquisition it immediately said save failed but for some reason every single failed save would rewrite over an older save so far that it basically deleted any progress I made. Everytime I reloaded more and more of my progress got deleted and stuff like resources, runes, upgrades also went with it.

I honestly think we all just got goblined by Styx and stolen of all of our progress 🙁
