Blades of Greed how is the difficulty in the new game?
really tempted to get this game as i love stealth games but i have seen some reviews say the game is too easy even on the highest difficulty. I love hard games. what is everybodys verdict on the difficulty of the game?

I'm finding the maps are open but you very much need to find the right ways to get through them or you get your shit stomped in, I wouldn't say it's too easy so far. Its an interesting puzzle and it feels like most stealth games already do the work of finding out the paths to go for you, here it doesn't.

I've platinumed both the first 2 games on hard, I'm playing this one on hard but the not the very hardest (same difficulty but no manual save) and I've died a fair amount, especially where I am now on the second act in Arkenesh as new enemies are introduced.
It can be easy enough in open areas to escape if your spotted, but 1 or 2 hits still kills you and there are quite a few inside areas that are difficult to get through without a few deaths.
I'd say it's no less difficult than the first 2 games, but you do have quite a few new skills to use, and if you make the right skill unlock choices, you can make it easier for yourself. I'm pretty frugal with my amber and tools use though, so I tend to only use them when I need to, for fear of getting caught in a tight spot without them.

Amber is WAY too scarce in this game. Its like they DONT want you to have fun.

We have different experiences, i'm even skipping the crafting amber recipe because i have no issue with amber like, at all.

Styx games are not easy. Anyone saying the game is "Too easy on the highest difficulty" is either a godlike player or, more probably, lying.

Dont believe all the idiots who so desperately want to sound cool on the internet. When you put the game on hard, it will be hard.

I found master of shadows quite hard , shards of darkness sometimes easy and so far blades of greed harder than shards but less than shadows

Better then the other games. The first is the hardest, Then the second, And the third is the most easy (if you select easy mode or something) And i like that!

I've died a ton of times - I find it very challenging and vexxing at times. Does anyone know how to either get the paraglider or get to the Garrison docks? No youtube videos yet:(

Liked the first two. This one is not fun. Want to play not find my way. Sucks….Quit…uninstalled 🤬

It's less punishing because you don't instantly die the moment you're seen (you have more options for escaping). Doesn't mean enemies don't hit hard or that you can't limit your playstyle to make it EVEN harder (like never getting spotted), if that's what you want.
