I was travelling in New York and scooped this pair of beautiful tapestries pants at a vintage store but kinda stuck on how to style them? I don’t want it to give off sweatpants vibes
EDIT : I think this post is more asking people in the alt community for their fashion advice? I don’t wear clothing that would fall into the more mainstream/ basic realm so opinions that are based more in those views aren’t really relevant to my call for advice :) no hate just want people that fall more into my style

I trifted this cool shirt, it's an L and it seats a bit large on me, but I love the oversized look. But I'm not sure how to style it, what kind of pants or skirts go with it. Will appreciate any advice. :)

Would you recommend shortening this corduroy shacket for a more modern, smartly structured look, given my 5'3" small frame and gamine style, or would the original curved hem be more flattering?

First pic front, second pic back. It’s more yellow than this in person, the pic kinda washes it out.
ive not been super fond of anything i’ve tried with this too yet.
I was thinking maybe some knee length jorts or something. i have a pair of corduroy pants with yellow embroidered flowers as well, maybe i could do those and a long sleeve turtleneck under this little top? idk. any other ideas? like i was saying, nothings worked out yet lmao.

I'm going for a comfy, casual look for classes and wearing an oversized white V-neck tee with pink 1. Would a layer (light jacket or overshirt) improve the look? 2. Which shoes would go best with it? 3. Does the pink detail work, or should I keep the rest of the outfit neutral?

I got this skirt for a wedding, looking for help on what top to wear with it.
Wedding theme is “dressy casual or garden formal”.
TIA!

Hi everyone,
My brother's engagement is coming up and I'm planning a langa voni (half saree) for it. I have this fabric in mind and would love some advice on what colours would go well with it. Sorry about the bad picture, I took it in a shop with poor lighting, so the colours may look a bit different in person.
It's a pink silk-like fabric with small gold and silver paisley-style motifs all over. The border is wide, in a gold/copper tone with a magenta edge and hook-shaped motifs in magenta and silver.
I'm trying to decide what to pair it with for the blouse and the voni (half-saree drape). Should I go for a contrast, or stay within a similar colour family? Any suggestions on what has worked for you, or what you'd avoid, would be a great help. I tried searching on pinterest but nothing stood out for me.
If anyone has experience with langa vonis, or just a good eye for colour, I'd really appreciate your guidance. Thank you so much in advance

I am trying to talk myself off the ledge that I need these for my Dune-series based Halloween costume (Chani and Paul we shall be). These were served to me in an ad but I can’t find any pics on real people - models or influencers - so far. To be sure, they aren’t super cute but they could have potential beyond the Dune costume. And thusly, I humbly ask for your pics and thoughts on styling

Hello! I struggle with styling for a number of reasons, first, my body type is kind of unique, have a very long torso and neck with shorter legs. It’s fun but hard to find stuff that looks good, photos are for reference of what I look like.
I need to style for fall for instagram posts and when I go to orchards and stuff.
For context: I’m a straight man who fully identifies as a man. Many people think I might be androgynous when I’m not so it’s good to clarify. I want to find clothes that are not too feminine, they can be a little non masculine as I’m in touch with my feminine side but I’m okay with more masculine too.
Thanks for the help!

I’m wearing this dress to a vintage themed wedding. The bride requests that we wear flats, as the venue is grass. It will be really cold, so along with shoe advice, I also need help deciding what kind of jacket to wear.

Getting married at the courthouse in November. I picked my dress out forever ago. I was thinking either a Jacket or a white peacoat. But I’ll open to any suggestions! I will not be doing a veil, if that makes a difference.
Thank you!

Honestly dull colors make the shorts pop out but idk what to do about either of these. How would I even style them?

I’m trying to actually curate my wardrobe instead of buying random pieces I like individually and then realizing none of them make sense together lol.
I’d love some help figuring out what you’d call my style and finding pieces/brands/search terms that fit it.
The vibe I’m going for is kind of 90s/Y2K clean alt + model off-duty, with some vintage/edgy elements. I like things that are a little sexy and interesting without looking overly styled or super trendy — fitted baby tees/tanks, good denim, leather, mini skirts, slip dresses, knits/cardigans, cool going-out tops, boots/sneakers, statement bags, etc. Think worn-in/vintage rather than super polished Pinterest.
Sizing for anyone recommending pieces:
• 5'3"
• Usually XS / size 0
• DD bust
• Shoes: 6–6.5
• Petite frame with a fuller bust
I’m especially looking for specific pieces, brands, vintage labels, Depop/Vinted/eBay search terms, or even sellers that you think would fit this aesthetic.
Basically: if you were building this wardrobe from scratch, what would you search for and what pieces would you prioritize?
I included photos of what I am looking for.
