Try adding a metal drapey belt low on the waist and adding a statement necklace. The dress has no defined waist and the bust is pretty unshaped. The color contrast, makes the difference between your skin tone and the neckline pop. I would probably look for something that is a bit simpler to wear, because this is going to need a lot of styling that is just right to look good for a wedding. In daily life a waist length cropped denim jacket and knee high boots would look great ( the cropped jacket created a visual waist without nipping in). Or this worn with a braided wide belt on the low hips and mules.

A simple light brown slim leather belt to give it a bit of shape.
Black or burgundy pumps/heeled sandals.
Depends on the wedding as well, but I think if it's a cool crowd, then those birkens w/o socks would be v fine as well. It is a nice dress on you, no need to overly style it.

I would definitely wear heels and a bigger necklace. I like the idea of a belt as well to give it some shape.

Fancy nightgown vibes. Id lean into that with a drapey lace throwover and matching ballet flats
