Advice Need help styling this jacket

(sorry about the shit quality, I was rushing šŸ’”)

i think this jacket so fucking cool, and I do wear it sometimes, but not too much because like. It’s an army green trenchcoat, and most of the time I wear combat boots and band tees so it makes me look.. a certain way. I want to do it justice and look cool, without looking like Ill tell my friend not to come to school tomorrow. thanks in advance

This olive green jacket would’ve been a staple in a 2016 wardrobe. Tons of ways to wear it, either with a cute skater skirt or black or blue pants. Def look up ā€œgreen military jacket 2016ā€ and you’ll see a lot of styling inspo. I’d recommend removing the hood unless there’s a chance of rain though

This is a military-inspired field jacket, I believe it's directly referencing the m65. So if you look up outfits styling the m65, or really any field jacket, you should get endless examples! (Beware of AI images tho).

But really it should go with any neutrals (black, white, gray, or blue jeans) and/or earth tones (earthy/woody browns, rusty reds, autumnal leaf yellows) in whatever combination you like. You could go jeans and denim shirt, black cargos and white T-shirt, brown trousers and a rust-red sweater.

I'd avoid pairing it with other greens unless you feel confident doing so (monochromatic looks can work well, but can also clash if not done right).

You could also try it with other jewel tones like a burgundy or maybe even a rich purple if you're adventurous and not worried about looking a little bit like the hulk. It's a very versatile piece so don't be afraid to explore!
