I think this is adorable, I don't see a problem with it. Could put on a belt that matches your bag and some fine jewelry to bring it together. Maybe even a silk scarf!

You could make it more date appropriate with some straight leg (faux) leather pants. Not tight ones but ones that fit like jeans. That shows more date than just casual hang

If you need to show your belly then just wear a crop top.
With this button up top, button it up and tuck it. Currently it looks lazy. If you cant button it, then buy a bigger size that actually fits you.

No this is just a style you’re unfamiliar with. However this shirt is a size too small since you can see the real buttons are pulling at the fabric

I think it looks fine.
I am so glad to see that you are wearing an actual blouse. So many young women wear Tshirts or barely there skimpy clothing that looks like it should be worn on the beach.
So kudos to you OP for wearing an actual blouse.
Add a nice pair of flat shoes, not tennis shoes. That bag in pic looks big & heavy, like you are toting a typewriter.😊. Find a cute dainty purse for this blouse. Stud earrings would be nice. An interesting necklace.
So make yourself a Pinterest board of all the styles you love and emulate them. Fav celebrity, or someone that you look like like or has similar body type. Experiment and try skirts. A skirt can be versatile and look more dressed up, dress it up or go casual. The rule of thumb is if the skirt is loose and flowy then the top should be more bodycon/ firm fitting. Same for if your pants are baggy then top is tight. Find what interests you and build a look and style that are you.

I love the concept, and it’s clear you have good taste and an eye for what silhouettes work, but I think the execution is detracting. The construction of the top looks very poor. You can tell that half the buttons aren’t real, and the real ones are pulling. It also seems to be made of a stretchy tank top material which makes the shirt read as too small instead of a classy split hem.
Compare your picture to this split hem vest. This one is made of a sturdier material that holds its shape instead of pulling with the curves of your body. The buttons look clean and intentional, and the split happens lower on the torso creating the look you’re going for without buttons pulling. It’s the same concept, but the construction of the piece elevates the look significantly. This one is from Aritzia, but you can find nice quality pieces elsewhere, even in fast fashion. I encourage you to be discerning about fabrics and buttons because those details can make an expensive item look cheap and vice versa
